Jean Gazdac at Revelations

Revelations, the first international biennial crafts fair, is currently taking place in the nave of the Grand Palais as part of Paris Design Week. Craftspeople from all sectors are presenting their contemporary creations, symbols of refinement, luxury and French elegance and excellence.

Highlights include a series of traditional tools made out of crystal; a narrative forest made out of glass and wood; chairs covered in an intricate silicon lace; colourful glass table lamps with faceted light bulbs hanging inside them; a honeycomb coffee table made of hundreds of pieces of solid wood; and a collection of decorative accessories made of the thinnest layers of hand-cut wood.
