Amsterdam-based artist Kustaa Saksi will show Hypnopompic next month, a collection of striking and surreal artworks manufactured using jacquard weaving techniques.

Made from mohair, alpaca wool, cotton and synthetic materials such as phosphate and metallic acrylic thread, the textile artworks depict the state of sensory confusion when the dream world is mixed with reality during awakening.

The combination of vivid colours with spiders and other crawly creatures creates art which has a psychedelic feel.

Hypnopompic will be on show at the CentroCentro in Madrid, from 7th February- 31st March.
