Thinking of Childhood, by David Lynch


David Lynch was given carte blanche to conjure up Small Stories, an exhibition of around 40 of his black and white photographs especially created for the Maison Européenne de la Photographie.

The photographs are in keeping with the artist's recurring themes of dark and disquieting scenarios. The surreal imagery echoes the mood from his films and artwork, and ranges from ghost-like figures peering out from an eery landscape to headless amorphous creatures reminiscent of a blurry Twin Peaks' Log Lady.
